  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Calgary Area Meetup is set for Saturday July 12th at 10am. The signup thread is here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. Nice machine well set up by the look of it. Has superficial rust on the exposed metal surfaces from storage. $600. The lever for locking the slide adjustment is there, the eye in that location is just for lifting purposes. There is a 3/16 plate chip tray with raised lip. The castor units painted green are part of a base frame which is not shown. Better photos to come. Located near Victoria BC.

Thanks for asking about the vise: yes, the correct Lewis Machine Tool Co. vise is included and the flyer in the photo attached too. (I see I had the name wrong)

I spent a few hours cleaning up the machine last night. Will post some pics later today when finished. Someone put a lot of work into the drive control system and it works well.
