I want to offer my thanks to all the veterans out there and those still on active duty I appreciate all you have done to maintain the freedoms and liberties we have. I remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice may they rest in peace, you are not forgotten.
We can complain all we want we have that right, but we must not forget all the positive's in our lives and we must remember that in our daily reflection.

Well said. I look at a book called 'Amsterdam Tijdens de Honger Winter' every year at this time (and 5 May) to remind myself what my parents survived there and why we are so grateful to the sacrifices that you mentioned.
