Lathe Chuck Key

I got fed up with the chuck key that came with my Atlas 6" 4 jaw. It's was loose as a goose. It kept wanting to fall out while adjusting the jaws.
So I grabbed a steering tie rod that I found out on the curb for garbage. Being already hardened, it fit the bill pretty well.

I find doing these little projects soothes the savage breast!
