Lamenting not having a drafting table? Here is one free for pick up in Hamilton

I wish I had a better memory... west of MJ there was a town with a museum that I thought did some heritage days, it is where I fell in love with hit and miss engines. But I can't remember it. Every time I drive the transcanada thru SK I keep trying to recall where they heck it was so I can stop but no such luck. All I see off the highway is a thick legged disproportioned cement moose.
You sure that was not Baildon, South of the Jaw? They had an annual event there.

Eight (more or less) years there, and I cannot recall anything of that sort happening WEST of there. Caronport was mostly religious, and not real in to community shows... Hells, you were rumored to have to be cleared by the 'church squad' to be able to buy there...

The Western Development Museum IN Moose Jaw, was a pretty cool place though! The WDM in PA was also worth a look, as was the one in 'Toon Town!

The moose. Mac the Moose had his nuts cut off a while back. By the city. Used to be a tradition that the grad class would paint his nutsack with fluorescent orange paint. Now, Mac is an "it"!

no it was not south of MJ... but it was mid 1980s so it may not have been heritage days but some other event where the museum drew more than the usual visitors and they had more exhibits up and running.

Yeah I've been the the WDM many times. The only thing I saw in saskatoon was the uni campus and the art gallery
