Welcome from Lillooet BC. What do you have for a welder if I may ask? I have several welders, but I would not consider myself a weldor, however, I enjoy "gluing steel together" in a variety of projects.

And not only will you learn great things about welding here, you will also gain valuable info on subjects (both metal and even non metal) that you did not know you needed but I am sure you will appreciate it all the same. Welcome.

Welcome from SK. Ditto what 140mower asked, the good welders on here need to know what you have for equipment. I have taken several courses on welding but forgot most of it.

Welcome aboard.
I am also in a same boat. Took welding long time ago. Stick is a go to for most of the jobs. Recently got a tig welder, after reading reviews settled with primeweld 225.
I guess its practice and more practice from now on :)
