  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Calgary Area Meetup is set for Saturday July 12th at 10am. The signup thread is here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. I got this in a lot of tooling from an auction a while ago.

I disassembled, cleaned it and replaced the arbor in the hopes of getting the runout close to spec but no luck. It runs out about .0045 - .005 with a dowel pin in it. I would just swap the arbor again and use it on the lathe but I already have a nice röhm keyless chuck over there so it’s up for grabs. 1/2” capacity, J6 taper with a R8 arbor on it now that I confirmed was basically 0 runout before I mounted it.

Thinking $50? I’m open to offers.
