How's this for accurate machining?

Although very impressive, I have questions. Is it repeatable, or is this a one time thing for a show? Can this be done the first time every time? etc.
 
It is plasma microarc machining. This takes a *lot* of time and a very pricey machine to do the last finishing step. It is faster than using a CBN ball end mill to produce near mirror finishes, and more accurate.

Accuracy to <1 micron and optical finishes are possible.
