This is an amazing machine. Only downside is no single point threading. It has power feeds in all directions and a wide range of speeds plus instant spindle reverse so it is easy to use threading dies even up to a shoulder.

There is alot going on, looks like a fascinating machine.

It is good for one of's too, not just production runs. I have used this lathe extensively and the large wheels and dials make it easier to get that one thou accuracy. I believe it has a 1.560" bore.
I also had a Herbert #4 Senior pre optive which is almost identical in appearance but with a 2 1/8" spindle bore. I made my iron worker punches and dies on it in addition to jobber type machining so there is no lack of capabilities in these lathes.

That is well equipped and looks well maintained and clean. I do have a use for that but shipping to Calgary would be more than the machine.
