Already repainted. Makes you wonder what issues he found that he's not using it as it is.
It sure doesn't look repainted to me? They are a very nice lathe and very interesting design, love the kick off for threading, I passed on one in Quebec for $1500 and still kicking myself for that one. I love my SM but think I could spread some love to one of these if I could find one that needed a rebuild and make it a retirement project. But this is way overpriced in my opinion.

Dunno. Seems pretty hopeful, for a machine that comes with a DIY tailstock.

Seen a fair few come and gone, for lots less, in far more usable condition...
