I needed to drill some holes at a particular angle from a point in a piece of plate. I have used the bolt circle feature on the DRO quite a bit to drill a series of holes at a particular diameter from a center so I was wondering if it would allow only one hole at a particular diameter. In my DRO you need to locate the center point then input the diameter, the number of holes, the start angle and the end angle. It will then take you to each hole to be drilled along that diameter. So I thought maybe it will be OK with only one hole. So I put in one hole, then the angle I wanted the holes drilled at in both the start angle and the end angle poitions. It accepted that Ok, so all I had to do is input each diameter in turn and drill my holes along that angle. It worked very well.
