I just noticed this new model GS 6x12" is on sale ($C). Its a big fellah though. I cannot vouch for the vise specifically & they don't reference specs on this flyer, but you could inquire. It reminds me of a (no longer available) Bison. Generally GS gets great reviews. I have a GS ER arbor & collets & they seem very high quality. I purchased Sowa tools through DMH in Calgary, but perhaps there are other outlets.
