Great deals at Edmonton auction

Some of this stuff is rather big, but some is small - like RF31:

RF31... used ... new at KBC with 300 vise is 1800CAD.... so I assume used one should not go for more than around 500 plus fees. Good starter mill - not too precise but for $500 or so great deal.

Bridgeport Milling Machine 1S - universal - horizontal / vertical. Looks like a big beast around 3500lbs - 40 taper, 3-5hp. Still garage sized. I am guessing around 2000?

Two large lathes:

Both look a touch too big for a home shop - probably 10hp to 20hp or so. I would say they go for 5000 to 8000.

Since it's in Edmonton you may be right, that stanko could be a nice lathe.
I would be cautious buying a mill or lather from a yard, it's different at a on site auction since you can run then and make sure there are no surprises, but if it goes cheap enough sometimes it worth the gamble.
I wouldn't be horribly surprised if the Mills go for more than you think, but it's always a guessing game with that stuff.. Kinda have to just sit through many, many auctions to find a good deal sometimes.
If you could get the Mills at 3-500 for the small one and up to 3k for the big one you'd have done really well though, then you have to move them and get power hooked up (at least in the case of the bridgeport). Both lathes are probably 600v, not that it's the end of the world but its just another obstacle.
