Hey.... don't make fun of a guy's junk eh.

One of those 1/4 moon paper weights as you call them got repurposed into a keyway broach. I fact, I got two broaches out of one piece.

Still lots of life left in that junk.

Sort of successful but not enough to peruse past where I left it.



I was able to broach an aluminium and mild steel sample but not to the depth I had envisioned.

My lathe doesn't appear to be rigid enough for this kind of operation.
