Emco Compact 5 Tool Block

Upnorth

Super User
Cleaning out some things and I ran across an Emco compact 5 tool block. I no longer have any use for it because I moved on to bigger equipment a long time ago. There is some surface rust but the bottom mating surface is quite clean. Part is free to anyone with a compact 5 that can use it. It will cost $20 shipping to anywhere in Canada. So $20 if you want it.

I tossed into the scrap bin a while ago. It's probably still in there. Going from memory it goes on top of the compound rest. It's just not quick change like some of the other tool holders.

Hi upnorth can you repost your picture. I just got an emco compact 5 lathe/mill.
It looks like the one in the bottom right of this photo. I'm away from home working now and won't be home to see if it's still in the scrap bin for 6 weeks or so. I'm pretty sure it's still in there. If you can wait that long let me know and then send me a reminder in 5 or 6 weeks. The one in the photo is prettier than the one I have, there is a little rust on it.

If you are starting from scratch I would look at one of the Chinese made quick change tool holders. They are relatively cheap and more versatile.

Hi Upnorth, thank You for posting the picture. I do not have such part and was thinking to try it with larger tools/cutters. Can I have it? I am in Montreal.
