CXvise3 vise reviews or insight

I was looking at my vise collection and I really don’t have anything smaller for the mill/drill. The stick out on a six inch is a bit much.
I know these have been out for a few years now and hoping someone could give me some feedback. It’s hard to find much in this size. Thanks!

I have two of them on my Tormach. For the $, they are actually pretty decent, and accurate enough. Are they a Kurt or similar type clone? no, but used within their means, I have had no issues with them. Eventually I would like to remake the fixed and moving jaws to provide a bit more workholding options for me in my smaller work envelope, but for the time being they work just fine for my needs. They fit much better on the Tormach than a 6" mill vise, and when both aligned to each other give me both a bigger workholding envelope, and the option for one/two op machining very easily.

They do go on sale periodically, so if you can wait, you might save $20 or so.

Just don't expect them to look like the picture on the website. BB don't give a s... 't if you complain. I like mine, clamps well, very little moveable jaw lift.

I know about BB, years ago I returned a machine and they couldn’t care less about the 1/2 dozen flaws in the design.
