Ct039 lathe Edmonton, 200$!

Yea, who knows why they called it a mini lathe, looks like a decently we'll set up small lathe...looks like even an 8 position gear box....better set up than the current 10x lathes

Edmonchuck is a long way to go while I'm preparing this trip. My truck is in the shop being prepared for the journey. (new tires, and some fixes I've been putting off). There is no time to get there and back once the truck is fixed.

If an Edmontonian were to acquire and store it for you, there might be a willing trucker that makes the trip many times a year.

Agreed why hasn't some gone and picked this up yet, get it before some greedy flipper buys it and re lists it for 1000$ before it's even loaded

It looks bent up somewhat , like it's been tipped over . It seems Odd that the add is still up

Those were $1600 , I know a guy who has one , he had buyers remorse a short time after bringing it home ............. "it's too small" was his complaint

So its up for 6h now. Why is it not gone? I would love to confirm by someone that its a real lathe and real seller and not a scam. I can get the item tomorrow. If its real.
The seller told me that they have many interested people coming to see it.

I told him to raise the price, and that even if he did I would be interested if I could find way to ship just the lathe. I expect the lathe will go today.

When I told them that it was also posted h to a hobby site they informed me that was also how they found the lathe originally.

The sale is due to ultimatum from wife if we are to believe the seller and I do

cheap cell phone camera lenses tend to add optical distortion.

this looks on par with this style of lathe.

as for too small, well yeah 12" would be better, but at the price it would have worked for me in my small space available.

I too got an ultimatum from wife, she wants to be able to do her laundry and get to her freezer and such

Still mysteriously not sold. Multiple people seeing it? What are they looking for? Maybe its just a carcass of a lathe not an actual working machine. Or there is no machine.
