Craftex 8" bench grinder

I'm selling my 8 " bench grinder. I just don't use it anymore since I got my large belt sander. It is model B2248, 1/2 horsepower. I have added some custom features. The stand is made from a truck axle with a large brake rotor and drum for ballast as a base. Custom machined wheel hubs with threaded holes used to balance the wheels. Custom built multi adjustable tool rests with mitre slots on both sides It is a very smooth running grinder with a green wheel for carbide on one side and a regular wheel for steel. Make me a decent offer and it's yours. If no one here wants it I'll have to list on Kijiji. Located in Edmonton.

I like your custom stand!

I'm curious about the green wheel. I bought a cheap diamond cup but have yet to mount it on a grinder. Can you enlighten me on this? I'm curious about the counterweights as well. I like the design of this set up.

I wish I was closer to Edm. I'd be very intrigued to purchase this

I machined inner and

outer wheel arbors to replace the stamped washers it came with. The outer arbors have a ring of threaded holes around the perimeter that can accept bolts to effect the balance. A little trial and error on bolt placement results in a very smooth running grinder.
