I've never had a mill with a light and its Rider green, the rest of the unit looks pretty good as well so ya its soon to be my new toy.
I have Cardinal transportation bringing to my door seems like the easiest method and with a bit of free money to spend why not.
I am excited to have a knee mill, I learned a lot on my pdm-30 but won't miss the challenges of it.
I said I wouldn't get addicted, ya nothing wrong with bringing 5 machines downstairs and only bringing one back up.
Hopefully my employer will realize how useless I have become and offer my a nice buyout so I can retire.

Well it has made to its new home thanks to Kevin at Cardinal Transportation for its safe delivery. Thanks also to @Aliva for having a look at it his interpretation was bang on in my opinion. Thanks to Ben for a great transaction and great communication.

Overall I am happy with the build and the feel of this machine with no glaring issues at all I probably won't use the coolant tank for now so a bit of a rewire and eventually a vfd and either retrofit my other dro or get another one. I am amazed that with the proper motivation what I am able to get done now closer to 60 than 55. Great workout my muscles are tired and I am tired but real happy with my progress.

So I started rebuilding my mill last week at a slower pace than bringing it down, giving everything a bit of a cleaning and going over. First the knee and the cross slide

The table was next beefier setup than my other mill.

I was going to attach each end of the top individually but realized that building it on the ground and using the hoist to set it on top was the easier way, I used to complain about storing the engine hoist but it has helped me out so much the last few years I am glad to keep a place for it.

Got some temporary power to it and was able to fire it up and man is it quiet compared, the x axis nut on my old mill has stripped and I needed to trim it down so the new mill got put into use right away loved the first cuts, and I haven't tweaked anything yet so pretty happy.

Looking great! Always satisfying to get things apart, address any issues, and then reassemble ready to make stuff!

I don't see any photos of the y-axis disassembled. Did you do that too or just decide it was ok as is?
