Difficult to separate the BS from reality. Yes, Bezos contributes a lot to Republican candidates and PACs. But, his employees offset that by contributing a lot to Democrats. There’s so much one-sided reporting on this topic it’s hard to get a truthful answer on who give how much and to whom.

Right - the real big-money interests are sure to spread their graft around equally so that regardless of who gets elected there's an outstanding debt to be honoured - we watched SBF get backed into a corner over that... right before he went to prison. I commented on Uline previously.
Citizens United was a fucking bullshit decision that's done more to ratfuck America than just about anything else in our lifetimes. Fortunately, the electorate is starting to get wise to the efforts by the very biggest money to buy elections and are not holding up "their end of the deal". See the recent Wisconsin supreme court election, the Michigan primary, etc. What happens in November is going to be very interesting indeed.
