I'm reading a book now that talks about how the art of sign making is almost dead. It used to be a skilled profession and the sign makers were known as "mechanics" because of its complexities. From painting a perfect letter with a squirrel haired paint brush and getting it right the first time, to bending glass for neon and argon signs, it's a thing of the past due to vinyl printing presses and CNC. Sad

Someone should grab that brake...looks like a sweet little tool. The sign angle adds some nostalgia to it.

So far I’ve picked up a motor gear reducer, kiln, pile-o-bricks and his ginger shaper

I put ads on FB marketplace and kijiji. Within a couple of hours there were 3 responses from FB and none from kijiji. This was my first time listing on FB.
