Most of the iron rod property markers on our property are fairly easy to find but are buried, so I made some visible ones.

Holy Crap! I'd be scared someone would steal them!

I use 2x1x24 pointed hardwood stakes painted red for 4" at the top.

Those are nice
I cut pieces of 6" green sewer pipe about 8" lg and sunk them level to the ground around the pins so I didnt have to disturb them

Not a lot of theft around here, not uncommon to come back from the cottage and a few or more Amazon packages have been sitting at the front door for days.
