  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. Don’t be shy, sign up and come, or plan your own meetup!

Now that I have the 60 gallon compressor I'm selling my 20 gallon compressor and the 20 gallon tank I had as additional storage.
Guy sends me cash for the tank on Saturday, says he'll be by on Sunday at 1 to pick it up. Money auto deposits so I'm set.
I put it outside so he can just pick it up. Shoot him a pic of where it is.
It's 6pm Monday and he hasn't read the messages.

His wife clocked him one in the head with a cast iron frying pan, probably regain consciousness shortly.......

I have been the second guy in line for this type of thing... twice. Both times, I got a great deal - after the seller went the extra mile for weeks or months to get the thing picked up. They gave it to me at about half price (kind of hedging their bets). each time. So it seem to happen once in a while.
