I wandered through a pawn shop last week and noticed a small bench vise. I am looking for a bigger one but went over to have a look at it. Surprisingly to me it was a Bison vise made in Poland. Model PJWT-80. I consider this to be one of my best ever finds in a pawn shop and it was only $30. I briefly considered mounting it on my toolbox at work but decided it was too good so it's going to my home shop. I'm way closer to retirement that starting work so it will get more use at home.

Nice find. Looks to be in great shape too!
It seems to be in fantastic condition. Really smooth operation and no backlash that I can see. I always though it was normal for a bench vise to to have a half turn or more of backlash in it. I'm going to be spoiled now.
