Bidspotter Auction Sale

So there was a machine shop auction today in Stoney Creek I got two things I wanted, but holy moly these auctions are getting out of hand for nickel and dimring the bidder. Everything had a minimum $25 rigging fee, even if it was a step ladder. Some were over $10,000. Bidding was in US funds, so 36% on what you bid plus 19% buyers premium plus 13% sales tax
I bought a cast iron radial drill box table. As some of you know I have been whining about the one I have because it’s like Swiss Cheese.
I also bought 2 -75” parallels for my boring mill.
I got a good deal still with even all the service charges
i missed the darex drill sharpener and the Miller Tig welder I wanted but they were sold before I had a chance to bid.

nice gets!
That radial box table is superb!
Thank you. Stuff was going for next to nothing, most times they were lumping lots just to get a bid. The $25. rigging fees were crazy. Mind you if you were buying a mill or lathe, they were quite reasonable. They probably averaged them out to lower the big-ticket items.
All totaled I spent $120 for the box table, the parallels and a wet stone grinder. Plus $75 in rigging fees, plus 19% buyer's premium. So, $232.05 US.

I have bid on larger parallels in the past, but never even came close. They are handy. I've had pieces of farm equipment on my mill and this will make it way easier to support them and get the piece off the table to do boring work. I love that box table, and its adjustable too.
