The switch is missing from my lathe and my OCD tells me I need to get it back to original (like). Previous owner wired a remote switch that works fine but I would like a toggle that fits in the headstock hole. Where can I find such a switch?? The ones I looked at in Home Depot looked kinda wimpy................................Daniel

Canadian Tire sells switches that might work. Your motor is wired for 120 volts, right?

You can also contact Clausing and get one through them, although you're probably better off buying an off the shelf one. They're a generic switch and are more expensive through Clausing. You can also get the On/Off sheet metal plate that the switch mounts into from them.
