Any suggestions for an alternate to the Dremel Saw Max?
I want a powered cutter for light-gauge metal, something small and capable of being used inside small steel enclosures.
An angle grinder is too big, and awkward to align for straight cuts. The Saw Max is good on sizes, and has a shoe for alignment, but it’s made of plastic, overheats quickly, and uses very expensive and short-lived discs that are exclusive to Dremel.
So something like the 4-1/2” mini circular saws, but capable of cutting 16ga steel.
Any recommendations?
