I have one of those in my little hoard. The Alexander was supposed to be of the same quality as the Deckel and I have read somewhere that he was a former employee of Deckel and was authorized to do so. This one appears to have off shore parts added to it possibly because of the near impossible to find collets that the early machines came with. Mine has those...... In fact it was while searching for information on these unicorn collets that I found this forum....Calgary, AB - C$1,700
Well the machinery gods work in mysterious ways. You may never have found us if it wasn't for those odd ball collets. I'm glad you didI have one of those in my little hoard. It's certainly more than I would be willing to spend on one. For that kind of money, it had best have all of the collets and original parts. And, hopefully not the 16mm ones. LolA bit spendy for a D (or is it B) bit grinder.
He also has other items for sale, most of these are certainly not deals.
AliExpress lists metric, imperial and hex ones in a variety of sizes. Readily available, anything else you buy an ER8/11/16 16mm shaft collet adapter and use it in a 16mm U2/E355 collet.Deckels used a U2 (I believe), hard to get and limited in sizing
