It is a nice machine and is well-equipped. I agree the asking price is likely double what he can expect to get for it though (at least here in Ontario). In Edmonton, however, I suspect it commands a little more than here. Who knows - with $80 + oil again, there could be some big-spenders returning soon in a market with little supply for this sort of machine ?
The modern CNC engravers have largely gutted the overall demand for these. But for the right guy who is into engraving and has a love for the vintage stuff and the floor-space to support it all, there will be interest. A buddy of mine bought a Taylor-Hobson machine a few years back and I am quite impressed with all the neat stuff he's done with it since.
