But sooo much handier than the original location. I'm forever starting the saw and then leaning over to adjust the feed rate with the saw still running.

Ya, location wise it's nice. Offcuts falling off will probably beat it up a bit. But then again, who knows how long it's been working fine for, so probably a bigger worry than reality....I do like the riser frame too, just noticed that. Something I've always wanted to do with mine is make a new base and make it about a foot taller.

That’s not a bad idea I have never seen a roller support low enough for these.

I guess that's why I never get deals I'm WAY too slow on pulling the trigger. I have to ho and hum until the deal is gone then say I should have bought that.
