Sometimes with workmanship like that its hard not to be discouraged and never try and make a model, I am fairly sure I'll never be able to accomplish that level of finish and on such a large project, I just lack the focus. At the same time, I try to take inspiration from it, that my simpler models are doable if he can accomplish that!

Absolutely beautiful work...... My scatter gun approach to projects will never allow me to complete something that big especially with the attention to detail.
For instance, I was changing the front springs in my truck this morning and now the front of the motor and radiator are laying on the deck..... You know, since it is already apart..........
Is there a pill for this?:p

These are the types of projects I can oogle over and totally appreciate the skill and craftsmanship that went into designing and building, but still take a step back, and not fall down that rabbit hole of wanting to do them. Scraping and machine reconditioning is another.

Wow. Hard to imagine a project that would need more skill, abilities in so many areas and an oil tanker load of dedication.
