Uhm... did he just finish all that off with a what looks like a 1/4" plate of brass? If its 12" x12" x 0.25" thats like $435 at my local place for just that piece. My version would definitely have a steel or aluminum table, or if I was getting fancy maybe aluminum with a thin replaceable steel surface.
