Tool 2 kits of bits

Today my wife brought home a pair of garden pruners from work where somebody had mistakenly reversed the locking lever. The lever had an uncommon screw head. To the master kit I go and of course I got it.

The two kits of bits don't see the light day often but when I need to deal with an out of the ordinary screw the 2 kits of bits never let me down.

The kit on the left (which I'm sure a lot of you have seen and possibly own) I purchased years ago from Lee Valley. The kit on the right is from iFixit.com. I use it for repairing phones, laptops, my kid's PS5, etc.

If you're never dealing with electronic devices you probably won't miss the one on the right. Only a couple of bits between the two kits are the same which equals about 155 different bits (163 in total).

Highly recommend for occasional use. Unless you're working on something really odd both kits should have you covered.

ifixit is a great company filling a real hole in the market, fixing your own electronic equipment.
I bought their battery replacement kit for an iphone, battery and tools for a 1/4 of what Apple would charge.
