I originally picked this lathe because at ~340 kg (750lb) for just the lathe without the cabinet, it was about 100 kg heavier than most of the common (cheap) lathes of similar size.
It's got an installed DRO, 12 speeds, fully geared transmission, metric and inch threads, longitudinal and transverse auto feeds, 1.5" spindle through hole, and almost every option/tool the factory offered.
It's got very few hours on it - maybe 10 or so hours of cutting at most. Unfortunately life is taking me in a direction that means I need to consider getting rid of it.
I don't want to sit on it forever, but also don't want to leave a ton of cash on the table, so with that in mind I'm looking to see if anyone here would give me an idea of what a fair price for this would be. I think getting something equivalent locally would probably be in the $8,000 range? I'd be happy to get $5,000 out of it.
Located in Kelowna, BC. A forklift is available on site to load it onto a truck for shipping, but I won't deal with shipping it.
