Tool Digital protractor or digital level?

The "level" indicates the angle around the X or Y axes only and can be zeroed at any point. It wouldn't help set the Z angle of a compound slide. Most I see are a box shape. The "protractor" indicates the angle between two arms.

Tool Digital protractor or digital level?

Which do people find more useful around the metal work shop? Is there such a thing as a digital protractor that also functions as a level? I do welding, and use a lathe, drill press, brake and h/v bandsaw. I hope to have a small knee mill in the next year or two.

Tools you waited too long to acquire

My little 5x6 horizontal/vertical bandsaw gets used a lot. Recently I was making some lathe dolly wheels and the only suitable stock I had was a 15x2" disk of steel (I've had it for about 10 years, from a salvaged glass beveller.) It's about a 25 year old "Made in China" "13x40GEAR HEAD". There is no other branding on the lathe or manual. It is very close to the Enco 110-1351, Busy Bee and Grizzly G4002/3 (but 24/36" ways). The cross-slide and compound appear identical. There are some items I would like to purchase, but...
