  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Calgary Area Meetup is set for Saturday July 12th at 10am. The signup thread is here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. What’s Greywynd been up to?

These are all part of mounting brackets for a portable milling machine. When I get them assembled I’ll get some pictures.

    What’s Greywynd been up to?

It’s been a while since I’ve had a chance to check in. It’s been an extremely busy summer, we had family come visit from Ontario in June, while here, ended up buying a house and selling theirs in the Ottawa area. (Was part of the reason for the trip.) Work before and after that, and end of...

    Peavey Mart Closing

Well, I used to frequent the TSC in Peterborough before moving west. The first few years it was almost a go to, hardware was quick, easy and cheap by the pound, stock was good. The staff were friendly and service oriented. On the occasion they had no stock on an item, rain checks were issued and...

    Shop Flooring Materials

Have concrete in mine, and in front of the mill where I do most of my standing, I have a chunk of used conveyor belt, likely about 3x5’. At the last place I also had some of the OSB ‘tiles’ with SM on the bottom. Helped take the chill off of a cold concrete floor, the wood mostly resisted chips...
