    I have done the Winnipeg to GTA trip several times, can be a bit tricky North of ThunderBay in the winter, almost hit a moose once, and almost got a really nasty speeding ticket one summer testing a new to me overdrive transmission;-) Be safe.

    I don't know, everyone has a different level of "take it apart" adventurousness. I'm often surprised how some people dive into unknown things with reckless abandon while others are afraid to make left hand turns. In my case it was either reverse the unreversable motor that I had or buy one...

    FYI, I reversed a non reversible motor a while ago. One of the starter winding leads was not available in the junction box, so I opened the motor to get access to the windings were the pigtails are connected and was able to get access to the missing lead, took all of about 15 minutes.
