    If I needed a draw bar I'm pretty sure I have a few various lengths of 7/16" grade eight Redi rod in my metal pile. A couple custom nuts for the end and good to go.

    I suspect you are correct. My sister is an amazing seamstress and owns several machines. The old singer might be threaded different than her more modern machines. Thanks to a member here she now has the manual for it. Terry

    Its been a while since it was serviced although she should have taken it back then. A member here just sent me the 99K user manual. It could be as simple as the machine is not being threaded properly.
