    The Faller Came Early

Now I know nothing about dropping a tree, but I’m guessing the angles and cuts you are talking about are dependent on where the centre of mass for the tree is, and what direction it is leaning in already. I’ve seen a few videos where someone cuts the notch, figures out where they want a hinge...

How to Clean a Granite Surface Plate?

If you use crunchy peanut butter it helps fill in chips on the surface.

    The Faller Came Early

Thanks for the video! Pretty cool to watch him at work. I can only imagine the calculations on mass, horizontal and vertical location of that mass, and who knows what other calculations are going through his mind when he is looking up. Wish we could watch the mental process as it plays out in...

Schematics and Circuit Board layout with Fusion 360

Another work around that is a little more elegant is to order an "expansion" board. Again, you need to make sure it will fit the ESP 32 you are getting. Then just a matter of connecting the wires to the board and soldering them into the PCB in the appropriate place.

Schematics and Circuit Board layout with Fusion 360

You gotta be careful. There are many different versions of these boards, and the pin-outs and physical size vary depending on who is making them. The ESP 32C dev kit has a different pinout than the ESP 32U dev kit. They are NOT interchangeable. The type of USB port used is just one of the...

    Wild Honey Bee Swarm

I'm a beekeeper. Glad they were gathered. Honey bees are not native to Canada, and they really need someone to manage them in our climate. It would be awesome to capture the "wild" hives at you place that have survived on their own. Awesome genetics I bet. It's is amazing how docile bees...
