  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Calgary Area Meetup is set for Saturday July 12th at 10am. The signup thread is here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. Don’t be shy, sign up and come, or plan your own meetup!

    Lucky you. I'm on Vancouver Island. No one should move here. Terrible place to live. Last place in the world to visit. You have to risk sinking on a ferry to get here or run away. Weather is terrible. Pollution etc. Don't come here...

    Those were the same STL's that could be downloaded from the web. With a .dwg I can take the dimensions, recreate it and make a step file for you. What CAD program do you use to create the STLs

    Those look nice. I don't have an issue with drywall. As long as you know where the studs are most things can be mounted in such a way that the drywall doesn't interfere. And then there's no chance of running holes into the vapour barrier. My labour is pretty well free now. But true the mud...

    The two angled 30 and 60 degree pieces. To much with them as each with two separate pieces a STEP file rather than STL is handier.
