    Milky Gear Oil

Gunna try something different. Background I have a 7ft bushhog (rotary cutter) that popped the bottom seal out of the gearbox a few years ago. Clearly hydraulic expansion. I suspected water in the oil because the remaining oil was milky. I replaced the seal (HUGE JOB) and tried unsuccessfully...

    Difficult Picture upload... again

This is an ongoing challenge for many members. The images system has been messed up for quite some time on the forum with no sign of hope for the future. The best way to improve the situation. Is for the poster to select thumbnail when uploading a photo.

I thought it might make some of my small woodworking jobs easier as long as it wasn't a piece of junk. Returns are easy with Amazon. So I took a chance. Today, I got a notice that it was out for next...

    Spring is Here!

Yesterday, we saw two separate new born fawns on our farm. This one was born right up close to the house. We didn't even know it was there till mom came back to lead it away. So cute with long wobbly legs and a body the size of a kitty cat!

    Wild Honey Bee Swarm

I have two wild honey bee hives on my farm. Today I found a swarm at the base of the big Walnut tree one of them is in. I'm sure I remember that the wife of one of our members is a honey bee expert. I'd like to know if I should call a local honey farm, buy a hive for them and try to catch...

    Car designs suck

The whole carbon neutral, green energy thing is a farce. It's just a convenient non-verifyable way for crooks to market total crap.

    Tool holders for AMMCO Shaper

My new AMMCO Shaper has a size 0 lantern tool post on it. I plan to investigate ways to install an improved toolpost with emphasis on the one that @140mower developed. But in the meantime, it seems prudent to get a few tool holders to fit the current lantern tool post. It came with 1 lonely Left...
