  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Calgary Area Meetup is set for Saturday July 12th at 10am. The signup thread is here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans.     As the title says. Got B2227L or 10 x 18 lathe but it very bare machine. No chuck no tool post and no tailstock. The first two are common things to get but the tailstock is not. So far the cheapest I got is $125 tailstock for mini lathe that I need to modify.

    I use mine at least 10 times a year. It is super easy to get a center. Sure they take a ton of Z space. But with power feed on Z its not that bad.

    Yeah I have home build grinder but a fixed table - I also have surface grinder and T&CG. I discovered it is important to have good belts.
