    Shop Tool Box Tour

about the only suggestion I would make is get rid of the socket holders with the little plastic peg for the socket to fit over. Had 'em, threw them away, and got the ones with a hole for each socket with a magnet at the bottom of the hole. The wimpy little pegs snap off quite easily.

Tool I didn't realize everything was a Fluke

they say if you get the right reading , it's a Fluke. Actually, it's good equipment. I bought a 98 automotive scope meter about 30 yrs ago and it has been flawless. I took an instruction course on it's use and the instructor would hold the scope out in front of him and drop it on a concrete...

    Tool Spotting fake Mitutoyo calipers

@Susquatch ,I looked my old ones over more carefully and I think you are right. I checked the machined groove on the back and it is very nicely done. Homemade Sheet Metal Brake?

I bought the PA one that has a stand. If I were going to do it again I would definitely get one (or build one) with fingers. The other problem I run into is that the top clamping piece often doesn't lift high enough to completely release the sheet after bending. It's been an OK tool but the next...

Shop Recommendations for warming up cold garage in winter

I would second a used house furnace. Keep in mind the condensation on cold machines . Especially if you are bringing cold wet vehicles in and out of the garage.

    Rotary Table question

Good replies previously. This would be a good job for a lathe but if that's not an option a milling machine will do. One thing to keep in mind is that the cutter will impart rotational torque on the RT so make sure your setup is really solid and that your RT can handle the torque.
