  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Calgary Area Meetup is set for Saturday July 12th at 10am. The signup thread is here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area.     Tips/Techniques Ways Accordian DIY

    after pricing accordion way cover, I checked truck tarp material. The stuff used on grain trucks. it's thin and very tough. Seems to resist oil and chips wipe off pretty well. Nice part is that I got 3' x 3' for $5 from the place I got my truck tarp from. Cut to fit with lots left over.

    both my ears are the same. High frequency ring/whistle. I can't hear birds or any other similar noises. I like to hunt but depend a lot on eyesight. I know some ppl have a very hard time with it and I really feel for them.

    One of the most frustrating things for me is the frequency of alarms and notification beeps is right at the tone of my tinnitus. All high pitched. I need a "growl" more than a "beep".

    Having been in the auto repair industry for 45 yrs. those tap sockets were the best thing since sliced bread.Too bad I never found when I first started.
