    New vise jaw product

Oof. That is spendy! But it definitely ticks the boxes on the 'cool factor' front. For those of us on a budget... https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4904044

    How to bend 5/16" rod?

Thanks, @David_R8. I was definitely alternating between talking myself into and out of aquiring/fabri-cobbling a three wheel tubing roller... It's kind of stupid how many of my projects end up being side-tracked so I can make or get new tooling. This particular project is meant to be a table for...

    How to bend 5/16" rod?

It'll definitely take a bit of experimentation to figure out the correct radius for the form, given the spring back. I was recently bending 3/8" rod. I needed a 31" radius, so made a ~25" radius form (essentially segments cut out of wooden planks on a band saw, brad nailed to a plywood sheet)...

    Tool Torque screw driver options?

Lots of options on the bicycle tool side, as you've already noted. This is perhaps one of the fanciest... https://silca.cc/collections/mobile-repair-1/products/ti-torque-tube-g2

    Hendey T&G Lathe

Amazing work, @Rauce. Speaking as a guy who has plans to refurb/clean some machines, and said machines have already been sitting in my shop for years, I'm particularly impressed with how quick you're getting into the nitty gritty! Definitely putting Cardon Tools down as a must-visit next time I...

Tool Let's Get This Started - Tool Test Tuesday

Those are neat. I like the brass jawed ones too. Clicking through, I see there's a kind with a screw lock on them as well. I can see how these would be great for small part work. Always seems to be more tools to drool over...

    Lathe-Only Machining of 'Bar Clamp'

Those look a lot like seat binders. I think your second option makes sense. Alternatively, if you made a jig to hold the part in place horizontally and had a drilling guide in the vertical axis, you could probably do the operation with a drill press. If you're stuck, you could also just abrade...

    CX701 gearbox questions

I can't speak to this particular machine, but when I bought my ct089, the gear threading chart included in the manual had some wrong entries for gear ratios. I ended up searching online and found a different threading chart for a similar machine whose values were correct... so... that might be...

    Fly Reels

Absolutely amazing detail and craftsmanship on those reels. Not sure if you mentioned this already, but are the black pieces painted or anodized (or delrin)?

    CX701 gearbox questions

With variable digital speed, you can change it while it's running. Feeds and feed direction should only be changed with the machine stopped. You should be able to change from lead screw to carriage travel while running. Essentially, any of these knobs should only be changed when the machine is...
