Light duty "precision" impact screw driver?

If you watch this video from Wera it shows the operation of the internal mechanism. So it looks like the anvil? is moved through a 45° slot, so rotational forces are maybe equal to the downward forces...

    Grinding Screwdriver Bits

The Brownells bits will generally break instead of bend, which is what you want.

Also, I don't know whether they offer it anymore, but they use to offer free replacements of thin bits if broken during use.

    A Simple Electronics Question

I have several WJ200's controlling my motors, and this thread helped me enormously: https://www.hobby-machinist.com/threads/another-pm1340gt-lathe-vfd-control-system-build-with-a-twist.54752/

    Grinding Screwdriver Bits

Yeah, this is what makes it difficult to replace. You make the screw, but the height of the head has to be much taller. You cut a sacrificial slot, but higher than the surrounding surface. You screw the screw into the plate which is mounted on a block. Clamp it in the milling machine...

    Grinding Screwdriver Bits

I didn't think so either, and then decided to Google it. MariTool was the only company I found that make a ton of odd ball stuff. I had to have it shipped to my brother in the US, and he brought it up.

    Grinding Screwdriver Bits

I have the Brownells Master bits, and several of their thin bit sets. That will do 99% of all screws, but the high end stuff like Purdey, Holland & Holland, and number of the Italian manufactures have screw slots 0.010"-0.015" thick, as well as different widths. And they have to fit perfect or...

    Grinding Screwdriver Bits

I have to remove screws with extremely thin slots on a regular basis and often I have to grind the screwdriver bits to the proper size to remove those screws. I use to do it by hand, and then a small 3-jaw drill chuck. But recently I purchased an ER11 collet for 1/4" hex bits from Mari-Tool in...

    Tool Hollow mill

I've never used annular cutters...yet. I understand they cut a pretty accurate and smooth hole, but what does the plug look like? Probably not so nice or accurate. In essence that's the purpose of using the hollow mill, to create an accurate and smooth "plug".

    Tool Hollow mill

The hollow mill cutter has a large relief bore behind the flutes. I don't think they're really designed for a plunge cut like an annular cutter, but are more for machining a slightly oversized shaft to finish outside dimension on a part that you can't machine normally, like with a boring bar...
