    S/E Asian button rifling

It is ingenious 3rd world tech, but as far as twist rate which is determined by the powder and bullet, and accuracy, I have my doubts. Probably something to keep in the back pocket for when the SHTF.

Busy Bee Tools selling Accusize products

I had a long discussion with the new manager at BB. She is determined to turn it into a metalworking store, and I see all the sales now are to blow out the woodworking stock. The owners are still out celebrating Diwali and haven't time to deal with boring things like restocking.

    Electric heater question

Huh, that is what I did as well. I collect the good mercury 'stats like that one. Reading this had me thinking back to when I had a problem with the furnace short cycling. It is a 50kBTU hanging off the ceiling. One cold day I was welding inside and noticed the smoke was up at the ceiling and...

Tool Let's Get This Started - Tool Test Tuesday

I use my battery grinder for a zip cut wheel only. It is handy to go out in the snow and cut what I need off of the steel rack. Even with a 12AH battery, the battery does not die but the overdraw protection shuts it off if you put too much effort into the cut. Some tools are just meant to have...
