  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Calgary Area Meetup is set for Saturday July 12th at 10am. The signup thread is here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area.     But... deeper drawers :cool: I will look at a shallow bar pull that I can also etch a label onto. I need to find the lowest projection that I can hook with my finger.

    There are multiple time inputs I've found if I'm not careful I can accidentally end up changing a setting as I scroll thru The L510 uses so much of the A510 board and software. There is a 00-21 for the A510, so while not in the L510 manual you can change a setting that may or may not screw up...

    I believe that basic parameter 00-21 is acceleration time 3, with the inputs between 0.1 - 6000

    It is actually only two different woods in the mid panel, fusion just models the vertical grain orientation darker than it does for the horizontal orientation

    Yes I got that, It is the front part where fat fingers have to hook an edge to pull against that has to be wide, not the rear projection that passes thru the second half of the face thickness. I prefer to avoid it if I can.

    Okay so that is what I thought. I suppose I can make that work if I made a two size bore, and put a smaller boss on the rear of the pull, but otherwise the hole is too large as you can see below, not enough material to retain structural strength.
