  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Calgary Area Meetup is set for Saturday July 12th at 10am. The signup thread is here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year.     Tips/Techniques Wall covering in garage shop.

    Plywood paints a lot easier than chipboard. By far the easiest way to paint plywood is on the flat with a roller before you cut and hang it. As much as like the wood grain, plain white helps old eyes.

    I've often joked I pay a dime on the dollar for the machine but end up paying a quarter on the dollar in parts . I draw the line at scrapping in. It doesn't always work. I only paid $50 more for my auction pressure washer then I would have had I bought new.

    I know mule deer stay away from forestry main logging roads, if you see one, they are in blur mode.But mule deer learn. Forestry mains are generally good two lane gravel. A more interesting comment was from northerner. With the proliferation of jet boats even dumb caribou are avoiding rivers.

    I could get my 10-speed up to 30mph. If you rode a 10 speed, you wouldn't get an impaired. That was over 50 years ago. I don't think my long hair would have protected me much. chuckle.
