  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Calgary Area Meetup is set for Saturday July 12th at 10am. The signup thread is here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year.     Got my storage solution made. Don't judge my wood, I reclaimed it from next to a dumpster. The budget for this build was $0. :D Also got a preliminary sorting of my machining metals. It 35 1/2 wide, and 18"deep x 24 high. The top shelf can accommodate lengths of 24".

    Sounds like a my drill press. Made in 1982 in Taiwan. Some fasteners are SAE others are Metric. Special place in Hell for the person who makes the call to mix fasteners. The most baffling is when I find a metric fastener, with a bolt head that is not SAE or a standard metric size.

    I used a cheap submersible sump pump to empty the pool each year. 50 feet of hose to a simple sprinkler head gives me plenty of reach.
