    Ah yes, wood, I had forgotten all the many wooden projects I've done on the DP. A milling machine moves into the shop and all I can think about is the stuff I can make with it.

    Brent, the woodruff key is definitely 3/16" or 4.90mm wide. 3/4" deep sounds right but I can't check as it is installed in the gear box at the moment so I can use 2nd gear.

    @That-Guy, thank you for the kind words. I put the gearbox back together minus the one missing gear, so I only have 2 high and 2 low. It's enough to get it spinning under power, man is this machine loud, I've never run a gear driven lathe before so I'm sure they are louder than belt driven but...

    Same here, registered 3yrs ago, couldn't login successfully until a couple of months ago. It kept telling me my email address was already taken by another member, but I was that member. Couldn't contact the administrator until I logged in ... frustrating. Perseverance won the day.

    I just bought the 13B even though I'm okay with the Drill Dr. Now this is the old version of the DD when they only had one model. Not bad for $40usd and I've been using it for 8yrs.
